Cousins.

You don’t choose your family.  They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them.  ~Desmond Tutu

My family definitely is a gift. And due to family living far away, we are only together for a few short days every year; so we make the most of our time together. We spent last weekend playing games, having big dinners, going to water parks, and laughing lots. During this time we managed to gather up the 10 grand kids for a quick photo shoot. I grabbed my tripod, camera, a couple of kitchen chairs, and to the back yard we went. Everyone, meet my crazy, loving, awesome, incredibly weird family.

Little Miss Jade.

When Karyn contacted me and asked if I would photograph her 5 month old granddaughter Jade, I was thrilled. Babies are always unpredictable, but as you can see below, Jade had no trouble with the camera. Her sweet personality and endless smiles made my job so easy. Ray and Ashley, you have a beautiful little girl. Here she is:

Under the Sun.

Last week my family and I packed up the trailer and headed to Turkey Point to enjoy some camping. We had a fabulous time relaxing, going to the beach, playing games, and sitting around the fire. It was great to be out in God’s creation; life is good! Here are a few shots of my surroundings:
